Neighbors play a crucial role in shaping important aspects of our lives, contributing to better health, enhanced safety, and fostering a sense of community pride, among other things. But unfortunately, this man isn’t experiencing these positive influences from his neighbor.
In a recent TikTok video posted by user @yishuntony, Tony documents a recurring issue where his 48-year-old neighbor harasses him on a daily basis, as captured by his CCTV.
In an interview with MS News, Tony revealed that he had been enduring this situation for 5 months. The woman has consistently caused disturbances, allegedly going as far as approaching the town council to request the removal of Tony’s CCTV camera.
These disruptions caused by the woman involve loud banging, occurring at unusual hours, including past midnight and after 5am.
In the interview, Tony noted that prior to setting up the CCTV, his door and gate had been marked with what looked like a black marker pen.
Besides his neighbour, his CCTV recording revealed that other neighbors would also often gather in the corridor, making it unclear who was responsible for the acts of vandalism.

Tony even told MS News that on December 14th, at 10:59 pm, the lady was standing outside his flat, casually mentioning how his CCTV is “the cheapest”.

Tony also mentioned that he hasn’t had a conversation with the woman since she moved in around 2021. Consequently, he finds it challenging to have a peaceful moment and feels anxious about returning home.
The frightened man went to the extent of requesting police assistance to escort him home due to his fears for his life. Tony lives alone at the moment as his mother had no choice but to move out due to these disruptions.
Comments poured in as internet users expressed concern for Tony’s safety
“I’ve witnessed many situations like this in Singapore. How severe is it? Take care and stay safe.”
“I hate to say it, but the only way to handle people like this is to stand up for yourself, brother. Wishing you all the best.”
“God, grant this man peace.”
“I’m sorry that you’re going through this.”
