Ladies and gentlemen, especially for those who frequently travel through KL Sentral, the transport transit station for LRT, KTM, MRT, Monorail and the KLIA Express Line, please do stay away from the location for the time being as there has been a bomb threat.
Twitter user iMais – Uma Agencia Sincera (@agenciaimais) has issued a statement on the online platform mentioning a possible bomb located in a Samsonite suitcase in the concourse area of KL Sentral. The bio of the account also states that it was “hacked by limzhengyan”, who we assume was the person posting these warnings.
Hi this is limzhengyan. I want to inform you that there is a bomb within a Samsonite suitcase that is now placed at the concourse area inside KL Sentral. It is anticipated to go off very soon.#KLSentral #Malaysia @AskRapidKL @ktm_berhad @PDRMsia

The posting goes, “Hi, this is Limzhengyan. I want to inform you that there is a bomb within a Samsonite suitcase that is now placed at the concourse area inside KL Sentral. It is anticipated to go off very soon.”
We completely understand that there is a possibility that this could be a faked incident, but we would rather be safe than sorry.
According to the posting, there allegedly is another bomb that was smuggled and placed in the Russian embassy in Ampang that will detonate after the one placed in KL Sentral goes off.
A second bomb has been smuggled inside the Russian embassy in Ampang as well. It will detonate once the first one has done so. #Malaysia

Do practice caution as these locations are highly populated with foot traffic and could very well be targeted locations to cause chaos. If the bombs do end up being real, we’d rather write a story about how people survived this ordeal unhurt, compared to the lives lost and families broken from it.
Earlier on 25th July 2019, The Edge Markets also reported that a bomb threat had been called in at the KL Court Complex.
The Rapid KL team, as well as the team behind KTM Malaysia, are currently in contact with the person who posted the information, while it is still unconfirmed if the police are involved.
The police have announced that no bomb has been detected in KL Sentral as alleged by the person above. However, NST reported in a tweet that an incomplete IED (improvised explosive device) was indeed found on the lawn of a house in Bukit Damansara by vigilant members of the public. Investigations are still ongoing, and we will report any developments that occur.

We will keep you updated if any changes do occur or if the bombs turn out to be fake, but until then Malaysia, please do stay safe.
