UPDATE: The Clark International Airport, Philippines has located Sokyank’s backpack and is in contact with him.

“A thousand thanks to everyone who helped spread the word about this, and millions of thanks to those who contacted their friends in the vicinity to assist. I deeply appreciate your assistance,”

“Now, I can continue editing my video!”

Imagine losing your most important possessions while travelling overseas. Sounds like a nightmare, huh?

Well, unfortunately, famed local digital content creator, Sofyank, is experiencing just that!

Taking to his Twitter page, he is calling for help to be reunited with his bag filled with his most important items, that was accidentally taken by another passenger on his flight.

He wrote, “NEED YOUR HELP!! Someone mistakenly took my bag from the flight named FlyScoot from Malaysia to Singapore on May 25 (Thursday), arriving at 10:50pm. I hope you can share this message until the person notices. In there is a video project of mine that has yet to be released and is very important.”

“In this backpack, I have my wallet, laptop and hard disk containing unpublished project files and videos. If anyone receives a notification about a missing AirTag from Sofian’s wallet, please assist me in locating it.”

The location of Sofyank’s bag is currently in the Philippines!

“I have received a new notification indicating that my bag is currently at the Clark International Airport. I will continue to monitor its movement and share any further updates with all of you.”

“The bag has flown so far to the Philippines.”

He also believes the bag was accidentally taken, not stolen.

“I have already visited the lost and found department (at the Changi Airport, Singapore) and filed a report. I noticed a backpack there that belongs to the same flight as mine. I strongly believe that the owner is the same person who mistakenly took my bag,” he explained.

Here’s a real life view (3rd panel) of Sofyank’s backpack:

We genuinely hope that his bag is safely returned to him!

Social media, do your magic.
