This is not a drill or a snippet from a movie. John Wick star Keanu Reeves’ house in Los Angeles, USA, was raided by robbers on Wednesday evening (December 6), and they left the scene with Keanu’s firearm.
According to the law enforcers, robbers in ski masks broke into Keanu’s house around 7 pm and fled the area before the police arrived. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) received an anonymous call about a possible trespasser at Keanu’s property but found no one when they arrived.
The robbers, however, returned to the property again around 1 am. According to the LAPD, they spotted a few men in ski masks, and CCTV footage revealed that the men broke into the house by smashing the windows. Aside from one firearm, it is unclear if anything else was taken, and the John Wick star was not at home during the incident, according to TMZ.
It was also reported that Keanu’s house was targeted a few times in the past, with a back-to-back intruder in 2014.
Earlier this year, Keanu also filed a restraining order against an alleged stalker who lingered around his house.
At the time of writing (December 10), Keanu has yet to respond to the news about the break-in. The suspects remain at large.
