What would you do if you hit another vehicle and the owner was not around? Well, whatever your answer to that question is, here’s the perfect example of what NOT to do.
Recently, a dashcam recording from inside a parked vehicle in Singapore caught a driver crashing into the vehicle while reversing from the opposite parking spot in an attempt to make a three-point turn.
The video, shared by SG Road Vigilante then showed the driver of the Mazda 3 double parking at the side and coming out of his vehicle to check on the damage to his car’s rear and the front of the parked vehicle.
The incident happened last Saturday (15 April 2023) at Hougang Street 22 in Singapore while the owner of the parked vehicle was not around in the vicinity.
The driver can then be seen returning to his car and bringing out a note that he put on the parked vehicle’s windshield. He then drove away from the scene.
The note contains a name and phone number which were presumably a way for the owner of the parked vehicle to get in touch with the driver who crashed into the car.
However, the owner of the parked vehicle revealed to SG Road Vigilante that the act of putting the note on the windshield is just for show as the name and phone number on it were invalid!

The owner of the parked vehicle has since made a police report against the driver who crashed into his car for the hit and run.
