The murder victim at a secondary school in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, was not stabbed 50 times.

The parents of the victim broke the silence for the first time yesterday evening (16 October), and in a press conference, the mother said that she was told by the police about the matter. She also reiterated that the 200 wounds on her daughter’s body are all stab wounds, and not slashes.

The wounds range from the right upper body to the thigh, and her lungs were also stabbed.

The victim hid in the toilet cubicle, but the suspect climbed over from the top

The mother also described the horrific incidents that took place before her daughter was brutally murdered, saying that the latter ran into the toilet cubicle and locked herself in it to avoid the suspect, but to no avail.

The suspect climbed over from the top and repeatedly stabbed her inside the toilet cubicle.

The suspect, who is only 14 years old, then climbed out from the cubicle and fled without opening the cubicle door.

In the press conference, the mother also highlighted one of the inaccurate information that had spread all over social media, which revolved around the alleged romantic confession.

Her daughter had never known the suspect personally, and the latter had never confessed his feelings to her

“My daughter had never told me about any harassment incident at school, and she never told me anything about receiving a confession or rejecting someone else.”

In the meantime, the victim’s father also urged the social media users not to spread inaccurate or false information, including a post that mentioned her daughter was sexually abused, which the man dubbed “ridiculous.”

On Tuesday (14 October), the nation was shocked by the news of the fatal stabbing incident at the school. The suspect stabbed the victim repeatedly with two sharp weapons, which he bought online, as confirmed by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).

The suspect is currently placed under a 7-day remand, and the matter is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
