As the nation transitions into the endemic phase, more and more states have also moved into further phases.

Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, Sabah’s official Covid-19 Spokesperson has revealed via Twitter, that the state is now qualified to move into Phase 4 of the National Recovery Plan, which will be in effect next Monday (8 November).

In his tweet Masidi also reminded people that although restrictions will be lifted, the public should continue to practice and adhere to all standards of procedures (SOPs). Under this phase, all economic sectors are allowed to operate at 100% capacity with safety measurements and health protocols still in place.

Currently at the time of writing, most states are already in Phase 4 except for some states which are still in Phase 3. These include:

  • Penang
  • Perak
  • Kedah
  • Perlis
  • Kelantan
  • Sabah & Sarawak

As the interstate travel ban has been lifted due to the uprising vaccination rates, there are currently no more states left in Phase 1 and Phase 2, according to MyGovernment.

We hope that the other states in the list will also move to Phase 4 in the coming future.
