We all know that money makes the world go around but there are also many things that can’t be bought with money. And one of these things is definitely classiness, as proven by this Singaporean man who was caught on camera trying to flash his riches.

According to a post by a Facebook user, a man got into an argument with the taxi driver and started to taunt him repeatedly.

The video depicted the man standing at the taxi driver’s doors, mumbling incoherently and blocking him from moving the taxi.

The man was behaving erratically and looks like he had taken quite a few drinks as well. In the video, just as the taxi driver started recording, he said,”Aiyo, you want to record ah?”

The taxi driver ignored him and said, “Hello, can you please move away from the doors? I want to close the doors.”

The man refused to move and kept standing in the taxi driver’s way, even as the taxi driver said the police was on the way. The taxi driver also pointed out that he did nothing to offend the man and said that he needed to close the door as he had placed his money there.

That’s when he started to sneer at the taxi driver and mocked him saying,

“Wow, that’s a “huge amount of money” you have there. I have never seen so much money in my life. How much do you have there?”

He then patted his pockets to look for his money and took out a stack of 1,000 SGD (RM3,112) notes, in an attempt to taunt the taxi driver by showing off that he had way more money than him.

The man starts flipping and counting the 1,000 SGD (RM3,112) notes, about 20 pieces of it, as if to prove that he had more than a few pieces of the notes. Is that really a lot of money, though?

The rude man even had the audacity to say,

“If you want to close the door just close the door. Be a man and just do it! Don’t be like an “ah gua” (transgender man).

“That’s why you can’t do anything great. Do you know why you are still a taxi driver today? That’s because you are not capable of doing anything great in your life. Do you understand?”

A Whatsapp screenshot was posted along with the video which was apparently sent by the taxi driver. He complained to his friends that the rude man had a fight with some of his female friends in the taxi and vented his frustration on the driver.

This really proves that being wealthy doesn’t necessarily mean that it comes with class and manners!
