The Instagram post by Rosmah’s daughter that went viral when it was posted shocked everyone due to the disturbing details that happened to the family. Everyone’s hatred for Rosmah only increased, but it seems like that is not the case for her own daughter and son-in-law.

Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor’s son-in-law, celebrity chef Datuk Fazley Yaakob has said that he had always prayed for his mother-in-law to accept him and his wife Datin Azrene Soraya Abdal Aziz as family. Fazley and Azrene got married in 2007 but the marriage reportedly did not receive Rosmah’s blessing.

Fazley said that he and his wife, who is estranged from her mother, never held any grudges towards Rosmah and had always considered her to be their biological mother, according to The Star.

“My wife and I have never kept any hatred because as daughter and son-in-law, she is still my mother (in-law) and my wife’s biological mother,” he told mStar Online.

“Throughout our 11 years of marriage, we have always prayed for Rosmah to open her heart to our family.”

Azrene is Rosmah’s daughter from her previous marriage to Abdul Aziz Nong Chik, before she got married to former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

Regarding their recent Instagram post about Rosmah’s disturbing ill-treatments towards the family, Fazley said his and Azrene’s posts were solely to share the true story of their family life to fulfill his father, Datuk Yaakob Mohammad’s final will.

“For me, it is a responsibility to share. It is not intended to find fault or disgrace any party,” he said.

“In my late father’s will, he requested me to tell the truth about me, my wife and him at the right time. I think this is a good time to share my family’s story,” Fazley said.

Yaakob passed away two years ago on Feb 8, 2016 at the KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital due to lung complications.

Fazley and Azrene have four children together: Ahmad Fariedz Shah, 9; Ahmad Fieradz Shah, 8; Ahmad Firudz Shah, 6; and Alayna Selma, who is now 7 months old.

Wow! Even after all that they have been through because of Rosmah, they still have the heart to love her and call her mum! *wipes tear*
