All is fair in fun and games until you piss off a rooster that may have more stamina and energy than you in a game of tag.
A recent TikTok clip has been making waves online after one rooster was seen chasing a man around a homestay located in Kuala Kangsar, Perak. At the beginning of a clip shared by homestay service Rumah Atap Kuning to their TikTok account @lillieskitchen_, a young man can be seen running from the corner of the house.
Dashing with all his might, it is not until second later do viewers see a vibrant and resilient rooster come from the same direction and chase him throughout the compound of the stay. Making a sprint around a pond located in the centre of the homestay, the rooster keeps up with the speed of the young man, almost catching him at certain points.
Turning around to make sure he successfully navigated the animal, the young man eventually reaches the steps of the house, running inside as quickly as he could. Almost instantly, the rooster stops once he reaches the steps to the house, daintily walking around the locale as though they chase didn’t happen.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, the establishment revealed that the boy in the video is the son of the house owner, and is familiar with the rooster, stating that the duo was merely playing around.
Recalling moments from their youth, many commenters shared stories of themselves having been chased by chickens and roosters as well. One user even revealed how one chased her when she was pregnant.
“The same as me. Every morning when I want to go to work, my mother will follow me with a broom because the chickens will chase me. Even the bus drivers will laugh while waiting for me,” shared one person.
A number of users also stated how clever the rooster was to chase the boy around the compound of the homestay, even knowing to stop right at the steps of the house, aware he is not allowed inside.
Taking comedic stride in the video, some users even made jests at the boy’s expense, with one person saying that this is a good way for one to lose weight: just get chased around the house by a rooster.
“I can feel it. This is a good way to stop children who love to play and not come home,” joked another user.
