Robberies can happen at anywhere and any time. Unfortunately, the perpetrators can get aggressive and dangerous at times, and they’ll do anything hostile just to harm their targets.
Recently, a robbery took place at a convenience store in Klang which involved 4 men, who initially pretended to be customers by wandering around the store. Some of them were also spotted carrying some equipment into the store, including a mosquito repellent. When showtime was over, the suspects ended their masquerade and got into action.
They started robbing the convenience store and put the mosquito repellent to good use, by using it as intimidation.
According to PDRM in Klang, one of the suspects suddenly took out a lighter and a bottle of mosquito spray and set it on fire in front of the victim to scare him.
At the same time, 2 suspects entered the counter area and took the money, two cartons of cigarettes, 3 donation boxes, and the victim’s mobile phone estimated to be worth RM800. The victim, fortunately, was not injured before all the suspects fled in a Perodua Alza.
A police report was received on Thursday by the owner of the grocery store regarding the incident.
