Many Malaysians treat their pets like how they would treat their children. Though, this makes it harder for them to leave their pets behind when they have to travel back to their hometowns or on holiday.
And the pet would certainly feel it too.
Minister of Economy, Rafizi Ramli, recently took to his Twitter page to share just how naughty his 10 cats were as they ‘destroyed’ his house while he was away for Hari Raya.
He humorously wrote, “A break in incident during the Hari Raya holidays. This home owner was shocked after returning from the Hari Raya holidays to a ‘broken in’ home.”
“The 10 suspects who were identified were found to have ransacked the kitchen area of the house and vented their anger on the plastic flower plant on the kitchen cabinet.”
Thankfully, he managed to ‘catch’ all 10 suspects, which were his adorable cats.
“Some of the suspects tried to escape to the upper floor of the house and (attempted to) ‘steal’ the home owner’s exercise equipment, but were unsuccessful. The last suspect was caught while hiding in a plant.”
“The motive is believed to stem from the dissatisfaction of the 10 suspects who were not brought along to celebrate (Hari Raya) at my hometown,” he added.
