Did you watch the Netflix Spanish phenomenon, Money Heist, and thought, “Damn, they look so badass!?”

Well, now is your chance to experience the mind-blowing heist yourself!

The Korean peninsula is on the verge of unification, and the two Koreas are printing a new unified currency as a foundation for the new union.

To celebrate the reunion, the Joint Economic Area has set up an outpost in Malaysia– there is no better time for Money Heist: Korea to kick off the ultimate heist right in our own backyard.

How to join

From 25 June to 10 July, the doors to the Joint Economic Area’s (JEA) — Cawangan Malaysia at No. 7, Jalan Batai will be thrown wide open to welcome visitors.

In other words — no audition is needed to experience Money Heist: Korea; you can pull off the ultimate heist right here in Kuala Lumpur.

Upon crossing the threshold of the building, recruits will be greeted by a massive sculpture of the Hahoe mask worn by the characters of Money Heist: Korea — Joint Economic Area in the foyer as well as an interactive installation that serves as a re-introduction to the Korean la banda.

After you have changed into your very own red jumpsuit and mask (which you get to keep!), Heist 101 commences at the Professor’s classroom, where you will receive a briefing on The Plan from the mastermind himself.

How to play

The heist is set into motion the moment you head upstairs- embark on a race against time for a treasure hunt in Tokyo’s room.

Hack your way into the JEA’s computers in Rio’s room, and sharpen your observation skills in Nairobi’s money-printing room.

Make sure to keep the items you have earned from these rooms, as you will need them to unlock the final vault that separates you from your goal: a mountain of cold, hard cash.

The Joint Economic Area — Malaysian Branch will be open to the public from Saturday, 25 June to Sunday, 10 July, from 6pm to 10pm on weekdays and 10am to 10pm on weekends.
