Despite our hardships with never-ending MCOs and an upsurge of infected numbers, Malaysians continue to emulate the #KitaJagaKita spirit like what this netizen is currently experiencing.
Taking to Twitter, @danialshazimi shared the story of how his family is currently under quarantine as they had close contact with a Covid-19 patient.
“We are currently under quarantine and have been issued pink tags. We are not Covid-19 positive but have quarantined ourselves as a precaution.”
Realising that their neighbour may need help, especially during the quarantine period, two families stepped up to the plate offering assistance like getting groceries and help in any way possible.
“We are truly touched that our neighbours offered their help.”
“Both Chinese families offered to help us. Who would’ve thought, that by just greeting them at the lift, they would help us in situations like this.”
“God bless them.”
Commenting on the Tweet, netizens shared their own stories of how friends and neighbours are offering their assistance to help ease their burden.
“This message was given to me by my Unit Manager. I got the cough and flu. This was the message she sent to me.”
In the message, her Unit Manager advised her to drink lots of water and sends her love as well.
Well, isn’t that sweet?
Now, these are the stories that we need to hear about more often to keep our hopes of a better tomorrow up. Remember everyone, #KitaJagaKita.
