In another addition to the number of patients infected by Covid-19 in Malaysia, it has been revealed by China Press that a Puchong couple who both worked as hawkers have just tested positive for the virus. The couple were said to be living in Taman Wawasan Tiga, Puchong, and medical staff in protective gear were seen outside the gates of their home earlier this morning.
It is unclear at this time as to where the couple worked, but medical authorities have apparently admitted both man and wife to the Sungai Buloh hospital to be quarantined and treated for the virus. In the meantime, their family members are also being tested for Covid-19, and sanitisation works are being carried out in the couple’s home, as well as surrounding areas in the neighbourhood.
At this point in time, no formal statement on the couple’s condition has been released by any health authorities.
We wish the couple in question a speedy recovery and hope that their family members are not affected by the virus.
