Popular PJ hawker centre, O&S Restaurant is temporarily shutting down after one of the hawker’s helpers tested positive for Covid-19.
They have since taken to their Facebook page to announce the sad news.
O&S Restaurant wrote, “We regret to inform that one of our hawker stalls’ personnel is tested positive for Covid-19 on 7 January. The said personnel was feeling unwell on 3 January and was advised to seek medical help and to get swab tested as the said personnel was showing symptoms of Covid-19. Hence, the said personnel’s last work day at the restaurant was 3 January.”
They assured the general public that they are following the necessary procedures set in place by the authorities.
“Meanwhile, we will carry out the necessary sanitisation and quarantine. Customers who believe they have close contact are advised to seek medical help and to take swab tests as soon as practicable. The safety and health of our customers, staff and community always remain as our top priority. We are here to announce that we will be closed on 8 January until further notice.”
