Police have identified a man believed to have intentionally damaged another road user’s vehicle in an incident that occurred yesterday afternoon.
Northeast District Deputy Police Chief, Superintendent Lee Swee Sake, said the suspect, a local man, is currently being tracked down to assist in the investigation.

Earlier, Lee stated that police became aware of the incident after a video of it went viral on social media today.
According to him, a police report was filed at 7:55 pm yesterday by a 25-year-old local man.
“Initial investigations revealed that the incident occurred around 4 pm while the complainant was driving along Lebuh Pantai.”
“Suddenly, the complainant’s car was hit by a Perodua Myvi driven by the suspect. Following the collision, the suspect exited his vehicle, grabbed a metal rod, and struck the rear door of the complainant’s car,” he added.

Lee added that the complainant claimed damages amounting to RM3,000 due to the incident.
“The case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for committing mischief,” he said.
