Woahhh… RM72.5 million is a whole lot of money! *gasps*

Few days ago, the Bukit Aman anti-narcotics team busted a factory in Bukit Tengah and recorded it as the largest drug seizure to date since the department’s establishment 22 years ago. Sounds like so many people are gonna be in huge trouble!

This multi-million Ringgit drug production factory has been producing party pills and marijuana all these years! Sounds like a little Mexico was going on in this factory.

Among the drugs seized were:

  • Packets containing 2.13 million pills of Erimin 5
  • Barrels of Erimin 5 powder weighing 742.6kg. Almost 2.47 million more pills could have been made with it!
  • Dangerous chemicals and various machinery to produce pill capsules too!

Other things that were confiscated were:

  • A heavily tinted white Toyota Vellfire
  • A white Mercedes-Benz C200
  • A Nissan Grand Livina
  • A BMW,
  • A Peugeot
  • A Vespa motorbike
  • Bank accounts with deposits worth RM426,000
  • Various foreign currency
  • Jewellery

Eh bro, can share some of these treasures?

The operation started on Wednesday night, with assistance from Penang and Perak state police and ended with the arrest of two men and a woman, aged between 30 and 46, at Pengkalan Hulu, Perak on Tuesday.

The trio were detained upon their return from a neighboring country and led the team to the Bukit Tengah ‘factory’ the next day. Since then, the trio has been remanded until Sept 18 under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.

Two of the men who are held by the police department had five to six criminal records previously! Some people just never learn.

The police department believes they have identified the mastermind behind this operation and are in the midst of tracking him down along with his syndicate members. Let justice prevail!!

Let’s hope these people are caught and served with the sentence they deserve for ruining many lives!
