Police Arrests 4 Men in Relation to Brawl During Super League Match in Perak Stadium

A fight recently broke out at Stadium Perak on the night of May 20 during one of the Super League matches. It is said that the fight was between the supporters of the competing teams Perak FC and Selangor FC.

Videos of the fight have gone viral on different social media platforms and many netizens had asked for the authorities to step in.

According to BERNAMA, the police have arrested 4 men who are connected to the fight at the stadium.

Ipoh district police chief ACP Yahaya Hassan said the suspects, aged between 18 and 26 are to be remanded today for investigations under Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting.

It is said that the brawl took place at about 9:17pm and the policemen who were on duty managed to take control of the situation. He added that one of the suspects tested positive for the TFC drug (ganja).

Ipoh district police chief also urged people with information on this incident to contact the investigating officer, ASP Chua Sze Yuan at 012-6195312 to help out with investigations.
