The recently concluded Malaysia Sarong Music Run had many positive highlights and key takeaways for celebrating Malaysia’s diverse culture and harmony.

The unique run, which takes place at KLCC, also features a 3km walk, which was attended by PMX, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Hilariously, during the event’s flag-off, the Prime Minister did this to shock the organisers and attendees.

As the emcee was about to share information on the event, probably droning on for too long, PMX simply honked his horn and ushered people to start the event.

Good call!

Netizens had this to say about the event and what took place.

“I once attended an event officiated by our PMX. He does not like to waste time. You can see him and his sense of urgency by the way he walks.”

“My guess is the emcee was taking too much of his time,” said a user.

Another commented, “The emcee should have briefed everyone before time. You can’t expect him to wait 15 minutes for you to finish your speech.”

In our opinion, the PM made a good call. You wouldn’t want to waste your energy standing around when you should be exercising.
