If you think the drug situation in Malaysia isn’t that bad, what the Prime Minister revealed might change your mind.
According to him, a huge cartel has been smuggling drugs into the country for the past 20 years, and so far, no action has been taken against them.

At an event this morning (16 November), Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim said that since taking office, he has not received any updates about the cartel, a fact that displeased him, especially since he first heard about its existence two decades ago.
PMX then questioned the relevant agencies, saying:
“That is why I am enraged. The huge container with drugs left Port Klang but was detained in Australia. I told the relevant agencies not to tell me that no action is being taken.”

Commenting further, Anwar said he could not tolerate the matter and has since taken several follow-up steps. He now meets with agency heads every week for an hour.
According to him, the issue involves syndicates and politicians.
“There are also criminal behaviours and actions. People have been killed by them,” he said.
Anwar, who is also the Finance Minister, praised enforcement agencies for taking action to combat the activity. He added that actions have been taken against certain parties, and the relevant agencies have seized drugs and charged several individuals in court.
What do you think of Anwar’s revelation?
