Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is asking social media user Zaki Yamani to apologise for his rude comments made regarding PAS President Abdul Hadi Awang’s health.

“I protested and regretted Zaki Yamani’s rude behaviour and ordered him to apologize immediately,” Awar posted on Twitter at 12:03am on 2 July 2023.

Yesterday, Abdul Hadi Awang’s son Muhammad Khalil took to Facebook and stated that his father’s health was deteriorating, asking the public to pray for his discovery.

The Twitter user Zaki Yamani posted a statement regarding the matter, saying that he prays for the death of Abdul Hadi Awang, as well as former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad.

As of the time of writing, Zaki Yamani has not taken down his statement nor posted any formal apology. Abdul Hadi Awang’s condition has improved and was transferred to the critical care unit (CCU).
