Just because the owners are not there, it doesn’t mean that you can take what is not yours.
On 23 March, a cafe in Petaling Jaya named Strangers At 47 has uploaded a CCTV footage covering the front of their cafe at 6am.

The video shows a white car pulling up in front of the cafe and a couple exiting the car. The man opened up the car boot and the 2 of them started to move 2 potted plants from the storefront of Strangers At 47.
The whole ordeal took about less than 1 minute and when asked, none of the staff have ever seen the couple.

Strangers at 47 told WORLD OF BUZZ that the plants the couple took are common plants (a bushy pink caladium and a philodendron Burle Marx) that can be found in any nurseries.

When they found out that their potted plants had been taken away, the staff were sad but not surprised.
“We have been victims of plant theft before and unfortunately did not manage to recover the previous stolen plants.”
Even though they are inexpensive, the plants hold sentimental value to the staff as it has been there ever since their opening in 2014. That’s a whopping 8 years!

The cafe really hopes that the couple will return the plants as soon as possible.
“We hope you will return the plants back to us and we would like to keep them for a long long time. If you would like a part of the plant, please let us know so we can propagate them for you
.”

Well, taking something that is not yours is truly unacceptable. We hope that both of them will come to their senses and return them to the owners.
