We all love transformations. It’s even more satisfying to see the before and after photos of something almost impossible to do – this includes an over 30 year old house which later went viral because of how great the change is!
MimMim, a lady from Thailand, took to Facebook to share how she renovated a house with minimal budget. She was given the freedom to choose her own materials and do up her own design, and boy, it turned out super amazing.
Check out the before-after pictures below:
For a two-storey terrace home, most would estimate a renovation cost of at least RM200,000 to RM300,000.
However, Mimmim did it for way less. What’s even more impressive is that she completely turns this house around, from the front porch to the bathrooms.
She shares that for the construction, floor material (including bathroom tiles) are about 500,000baht – that’s approximately RM67,750.
Kitchen appliances is about 200,000baht (approx. RM27,094).

- IKEA pillow (RM20 each)
Total: RM1,730

Bedroom
For the bedroom, she said how a bed she wanted is at RM1,600 but upon further search, she found one of similar design for only half the price!

Incredible right?! Her amazing transformation post went viral with over 168,000 shares. Many were inspired and wanted to re-decorate their own house as well. And for us who’s stuck during MCO thinks it’s not actually a bad idea!
