People tend to say you reap what you sow, and that karma is always keeping a close eye on the things you do. Well, in some cases karma might deal a swifter blow than some people may have anticipated for. Oof!

As reported by the New Straits Times, a 53-year-old man who had allegedly been secretly taking upskirt photos of a woman suddenly died when confronted by the police yesterday (16th September 2019).

The incident occurred in the Telawi area of Bangsar when another 35-year-old woman noticed the act being committed and made a report to the authorities. Apparently, the suspect had been using his mobile phone to take upskirt photos of a girl who was sitting at another table. Returning with police officers from the Bangsar police station, the 35-year-old woman then confronted the man.

Brickfields acting police chief Superintendent Arifai Tarawe said that the man initially denied committing the act, before refusing to turn his phone over to the police.

He even tried to escape down an alley and was described as being highly aggressive when he was pinned down.

But the unthinkable happened when he was struggling against the police as the man suddenly passed out, and when medical officers arrived on the scene to resuscitate him, the man never regained consciousness and passed away! The death is currently being classified as sudden death and the man’s body has been sent to the University Malaya Medical Center for post-mortem.

We hope that the authorities will be able to get to the bottom of what happened in this incident!
