Every Malaysian knows that Perlis is the smallest state in the entire country, and it’s been in the spotlight recently for a multitude of reasons.

So, naturally, Malaysian Twitter users took advantage of the state being in the limelight by making the hashtag #PerlisIsSoSmall a trending topic on the social media platform yesterday (24th May). Here are just some of our personal favourites; enjoy!

All eyes have been on Perlis recently, with the ongoing chief minister drama gaining some attention from the press, as the state was actually without an MB for 2 weeks since GE14 (9th May 2018).

However, just yesterday (24 May), Malaysia’s smallest state finally got a chief minister after Bintong assemblyman Datuk Seri Azlan Man was sworn in for his second term.

Whatever it is, we’re glad Perlis has more or less sorted out their MB problem. Let’s see what else Barisan Nasional (BN) has in store for the state from here on. Meanwhile, keep those hilarious memes coming, Twitterjaya!
