A local woman in Perak turned what started as an annoying spam call into a life-changing jackpot, walking away with over RM6 million.

According to Da Ma Cai, the lucky winner said she used the number combination from a spam call to snag the prize.

“All it takes is RM2 to win RM6 million!”

Da Ma Cai later confirmed the record-breaking win through their official Facebook page, verifying the authenticity of the success story.

“All it takes is RM2 to win RM6 million! The winning combination might come to you without you even realising it. According to the jackpot winner: ‘The numbers came from an unknown phone call,'” the company wrote.

Local media reported that an unnamed woman from Ipoh struck gold after spotting her winning numbers in her phone’s call log, right after ignoring a call from an unknown number.

Later, when checking her missed calls, the digits 4526+3106 in her call history turned out to be her lucky jackpot numbers.

She decided to donate some of the money to charity

The woman decided to put just RM2 on a set of numbers in the Da Ma Cai 1+3D lottery draw.

On 10 September in Taman Desa Kencana, Ipoh, that tiny bet turned into a jackpot worth RM6,078,449 when her numbers were called.

Although she’s still wrapping her head around the life-changing win, she has already promised to donate part of her prize to charity.

By giving back, she’s proving that a stroke of luck can do more than change one person’s life.
