Now this is the good news we all need to hear!
Mentri Besar, Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu, just announced that there are no more Covid-19 patients in Perak. All patients have recovered and are cleared to return home, reports the Star.
“There are zero Covid-19 patients in Perak receiving treatment at the hospitals in the state at the moment, but people must not think that the movement control order (MCO) is over,” warned the Mentri Besar.
Nonetheless, the state leader told citizens to take precautionary measures as the MCO is still in force. Faizal received monetary aid and essential items under the state government’s Social Aid and Disaster Fund today (30th April). He added that everyone is still expected to adhere to the rules of social distancing and washing hands at all times.
“This is the new culture that we need to follow for good after this,” said the Mentri, firmly.
Perak recorded a total of 252 Covid-19 cases and six deaths. The last patient who was admitted at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital, was allowed to go home yesterday (29th April).
Hopefully, this trend keeps up for the rest of the states as well!
