Ever since Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI) came into power as our country’s leader, many who have opposed him are finding all kinds of ways to put him down.
Some are even, now, accusing him of groping local celebrity, Elizabeth Tan.
On TikTok, a video has been going viral, allegedly showcasing DSAI ‘accidentally’ bumping into Elizabeth Tan from behind while apparently taking the opportunity to grope her. But, that’s really not the case.
“Puke”, the accuser wrote.
Not everything is what it seems!
Elizabeth Tan herself has since posted a video of the same incident, but this time from her own angle where it is clearly seen that she was the one who backed up and bumped into DSAI.
“Sorry, sorry!” she could be heard saying to DSAI in the video, out of embarrassment for accidentally bumping into the Prime Minister before adding, “It’s such an honour to meet you”.
Many have since thanked Elizabeth Tan for posting the video and proving the accusers wrong, while Minister of Communications and Digital Fahmi Fadzil also shared his two cents against the accusers.
“This is evil slander,” he said while tagging the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) as a hint for them to take action against the accusers.
“Elizabeth has uploaded a video with her Instagram, at that time she wanted to take a picture (with DSAI), so she reversed and bumped into him as she didn’t realise he was directly behind her. And DSAI’s hand, it’s not to grope but to salam the person sitting in front of Elizabeth.”
“Thank you Elizabeth, because this video answers to all the slander and insults PMX (DSAI) is receiving. Thank you for clearing his name from slander. May Allah protect PMX from all slander and insults.”
The posting on Twitter has since been deleted but it is still available on TikTok.

We genuinely hope that the authorities will track down and take action against the accusers for creating false narratives in regards to our Prime Minister.
