A famous Nasi Kandar restaurant in Penang, Nasi Kandar Sulaiman, is praising a man after he donated RM300 for the third time in an effort to belanja (treat) the underprivileged to meals at the eatery.
Nasi Kandar Sulaiman took to its Facebook page to share how the Malaysian Indian man’s donations have led to many elderly and differently-abled customers receiving complimentary meals.

They wrote, “A treat of RM300. There is an Indian friend who contributed RM300 and asked that we belanja the elderly and differently-abled. Alhamdulillah, from using his money, we have treated many elderly people and some differently-abled people (to meals). This is the third time he donated money and asked that we belanja meals. He donated RM300 each time.”
The man’s message read, “Good morning, boss. Please help the less fortunate and the elderly.”
In the images showcased, many of those who received complimentary meals thanks to the man’s donations could be seen beaming with joy upon receiving the food.
“Doing charity fosters unity”

The eatery also pointed out how they appreciated the trust that the man placed in them in donating the money so that it would go towards feeding those in need, and that his contributions can help foster unity as it goes towards helping people of different races.
“We believe he is from KL (Kuala Lumpur). But he believes in us by transferring money to us. He is truly amazing. He has a heart that is so noble, hence why he is moved to donate money to feed others,”
“The one contributing money is Indian, but there were many Chinese and Malay (customers) that I treated (to meals). People say that doing charity fosters unity. Insha Allah, I will continue this practice. We will definitely take care of the trust given to us,” they added.
