PDRM Will Offer A 50% Discount For Road Fines Till 11 April If You Use MyBayar Saman

In PDRM’s live conference today to launch the online portal and mobile application MyBayar Saman, Malaysian Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador announced that there will be a 50% discount for fines starting today until 11 April for those who use the MyBayar Saman website or app.

PDRM hopes to achieve at least 80% of fully automated payments by 2022. Users would just have to register on the website here and voila, you will be able to pay your fines.

However, NOT all offences will be provided with discount fines. Some of those offences include:

  • Driving on the emergency lane
  • Driving over the speed limit
  • Using your handphone will driving
  • Cutting queues on the road
  • Not abiding by the traffic light
