An unexpected attack took place at a police station in Klang recently, in the presence of Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) officers.
During the incident, three men were at the Meru Police Station to lodge a report when a group of five men ‘raided’ the premises and attacked the complainants. One of the victims was beaten with an iron rod, and the dispute resulted in damage to a television and a chair within the station.

The incident occurred on Monday (2 March) at approximately 9:40 PM. CCTV footage of the confrontation has since circulated on social media.
Misunderstanding triggers the brawl; all suspects apprehended
In an official statement released yesterday (4 March) by the North Klang District Police Chief ACP Vijaya Rao A/L Samachulu, it is believed that a misunderstanding triggered the commotion and subsequent fight.
The victims were at the station to file a report, but the situation escalated rapidly when five other men suddenly arrived.
“The encounter led to a heated argument between both groups. During the altercation, one of the five men attacked the complainant using an iron rod,” ACP Vijaya Rao revealed.
The disturbance caused physical damage to the station’s property before all five suspects fled the scene.

Investigation and legal action
Following intelligence gathering and investigations, a team of officers from the Criminal Investigation Division of the North Klang District Police Headquarters successfully arrested five local men, aged between 28 and 41, to assist with enquiries.
ACP Vijaya Rao stated that the case is being investigated under:
- Sections 148, 427, and 324 of the Penal Code
- Section 90 of the Police Act 1967
- Section 6 of the Corrosive and Explosive Substances and Offensive Weapons Act 1958
All suspects were brought before the Klang Magistrate’s Court and remanded for three days until Thursday (5 March) to facilitate further investigation.
