Taking to Facebook, 我们是马来西亚人 We are Malaysians showed how PDRM is using drones to monitor SOPs in public areas.

Not limited to just monitoring, the drone seen in the video uses a hailer to spread messages reminding people to adhere to SOPs.

“Ladies and gentlemen, please adhere to SOPs put in place.”

And the drone went on explaining the usual SOPs that we all know and love by now.

The move to use drones went down well with netizens, many of whom commended the police force for taking a step forward in adopting technology.

“Great move. Most European countries, China, Australia and the USA are using drones to ensure health protocol compliance during the pandemic.”

Let’s hope that the PDRM will continue to use drones to monitor and catch those who flout the SOPs.
