PDRM On The Lookout For Man Who Broke Another Person’s Car Window In Kelantan

Kelantan Police is on the lookout for a man, who assaulted a lady driver by breaking her driver side window,  in an incident near Simpang Empat Limbat, Kota Bharu.

The suspect is currently being investigated by the police after a video of the man breaking another person’s window went viral on social media.

Here is a  video of the incident.

According to the police, “The incident took place circa 5.45pm. The suspect stopped his Toyota Vios, while impeding traffic, and approached his victim, who was driving a Perodua Axia, smashing her driver’s side window and threatened her.”

“The suspect has been identified by the authorities, and is currently on the run, upon our visit to his home in Nilam Puri.”

“The suspect will be investigated under Section 506, 279 and 427 of the Penal Code.”

“If found guilty, he may face imprisonment of up to six months, a fine of up to RM2,000, or both, for driving dangerously. He may also face two years of imprisonment and/or a fine for destruction of property.”

“For assault, the suspect may be face imprisonment of up to seven years and/or a fine.”

“We advise the public to not let emotions cloud their judgement, and the police will not hesitate to take action against those who pose a direct threat to members of the public.”
