The man who was fatally shot at a Mamak restaurant in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, recently, had 42 criminal records.
At the time of the incident, the man was with his family members, and he was approached by the gunmen when he was going to his car.

The victim was shot by six gunmen
In a statement by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), it is revealed that six gunmen descended from their cars before they fired multiple shots and slashed the victims. They stopped in front of the victim while he was going to get his car before the attack, and police also found one of the knives at the crime scene.
The victim tried to escape, but succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
Deputy Commissioner Datuk Alzafny Ahmad, Negeri Sembilan’s Police Chief, said that the attackers had pistols and machetes with them. The victim tried to escape to the highway, but he was continuously shot as the suspects chased him.

The victim had criminal records of robbery, assault and burglary
Medical staff from the Tunku Ja’afar Hospital in Seremban confirmed the victim’s death at the scene and found gunshot wounds, as well as multiple slash wounds on his body.
Alzafny also highlighted that the victim had 42 criminal records, which involved multiple robberies, assaults, and burglaries. As for the suspects who fled the scene after the fatal attack, PDRM is now on a large-scale manhunt to locate them.

“We are still investigating the motive behind the murder, and the identities of the suspects,” Alzafny said in his official statement.
The matter is now being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder, and Section 3 of the Arms Act 1971.
