PDRM Detains 14yo Boy for Alleged Sexual Assault of 15yo Girl During Recess at Sabak Bernam School

While the nation is still reeling from the recent gang rape case in a school in Melaka, another disturbing incident has now surfaced, this time in Sabak Bernam, Selangor.

A 14-year-old boy has been detained by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl at a school in the district.

The victim subsequently lodged a police report

Sabak Bernam district police chief Supt Md Yusoff said the incident, which took place on 13 October (Monday), involved a 15-year-old girl and is believed to have happened around 9:30 AM during recess.

Following the incident, the victim lodged a police report, leading to the suspect’s arrest by the roadside along Jalan Parit 1 Barat, Sungai Besar, as reported by Sinar Harian.

Meanwhile, BERNAMA reported that the arrest was made on the same day, and the suspect has been remanded for four days starting 14 October to help with the investigation.

“The victim lodged a police report after the incident. A remand application was made on Tuesday (14 October), and the court approved a four-day remand until this Friday (17 October) to facilitate further investigations,” he said.
