His Majesty the Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, recently decided to spend time brisk walking around KotaSAS, Kuantan, while personally picking up litter left behind by irresponsible individuals.
The Kesultanan Pahang Facebook page shared images of His Majesty’s walk, highlighting it as a testament to the Pahang Ruler’s dedication to a healthy lifestyle.

The post noted:
“His Majesty the Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, consented to indulge in recreational activities around Kota Sultan Ahmad Shah (KotaSAS) today (Monday, 30 March).”
The page further added: “His Majesty consistently maintains a healthy lifestyle by adhering to his recreational and exercise routines, despite his demanding daily schedule.”
Not just for health reasons

Beyond the physical benefits of the walk, His Majesty took the opportunity to interact with members of the public. He was also seen using a rubbish grabber to collect litter along the roadside.
“While enjoying his recreation, His Majesty also consented to meet with the people and personally inspect the condition of the roads and the level of cleanliness within the KotaSAS area,” the post continued.
