As the Movement Control Order (MCO) enters phase 3, rules have gotten stricter and authorities are sterner to ensure that no one violates the government authorised order.

Our beloved Agong went on ground himself last night (16 April) to observe the traffic situation in Kuala Lumpur with the implementation of the third phase of MCO.

An 18-second video uploaded on Istana Negara’s official Instagram account shows Malaysia’s Agong, Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah taking a look around his surrounding from the car.

In the post, YDPA also expressed support towards the government’s efforts in the third phase and hoped that the people will continue prioritising their personal hygiene and staying at home to curb the spread of Covid-19.

His Majesty also commended Malaysians on working together and cooperating in the third phase of MCO which was extended by the government.

“His Majesty expressed that he feels satisfied because the people are giving great cooperation in adhering to the phase 3 of MCO that was implemented by the government,” the Instagram post read.

Keep up the good work everybody! We can get through this!

Our Agong prayed that the Covid-19 pandemic would be successfully curbed and will come to an end soon. We hope the same too. Everyone’s commitment is very important to get through these critical times. Let’s continue adhering to the MCO and get through this together.
