Time and time again, we have spoken about the innocence of animals, whether kept as pets or strays, that often touch the hearts of us humans. Their kindness and loyalty knows no bounds, and they often ask for nothing in return.

Yet just recently, an individual who had been feeding two stray dogs in Kuantan, Pahang, made a gruesome discovery after they found both dogs cruelly maimed, tortured and killed by an unknown assailant.

The horrifying incident was shared by a local non-profit organisation, Malaysia Animal Association, through their Facebook page yesterday (19th May 2020).

One of the dogs was found to have been tied by its front legs and beaten to a point where its body was completely contorted from multiple fractures, while another was found with its legs similarly tied up, but burnt to death.

A police report has since been filed over the matter, but the identity of the assailants have yet to be known. The non-profit group has urged any and all witnesses of the incident to come forward with any information concerning this cruel incident.

We hope that the assailants will be held accountable for their horrific actions.
