Doctors and medical staff fighting the Covid-19 battle clearly aren’t the only heroes our country has to offer.

Now that many parts of the country are flooding, rescue personnel and police officers are breaking a sweat trying to save as many people as they can.

Here are our top three moments, to show why rescue personnel and police officers are heroes that deserve our recognition too!

When they saved the little babies

The Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia took to their Facebook page to showcase their personnel evacuating two little babies among 630 people stuck in a flood in Perak.

The officers from the Kota Tinggi district police department even managed to save little babies and children from the flood in their area.

“The Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia is always ready to face any eventualities,” they wrote.

And when they saved the helpless animals

The Rompin district police officers not only saved as many people as they could, they also saved all the animals they could find.

At the end of the day, these pictures truly speak louder than words and serve as evidence as to why these heroes deserve our gratitude and recognition.

They’re willing to put their lives on the line not just for anyone who needs them, but also for the little critters that call Malaysia, home.

So, to all the abang-abang and kakak-kakak bomba and polis, thank you so much for your service.
