When you have the power to influence others or act as a role model, it would be wise to properly think about the content you put out before doing so. This is to avoid offending certain groups of people whether intentionally or unintentionally.

Recently, a local influencer has come under fire for his provoking video which he had shared on his social media account.

The video captioned “The Life Routine of The B40” was accused of provoking the B40 group.

Distasteful content

The video has since drawn plenty of backlash as netizens accused him of unnecessarily provoking the B40 group.

“Yes I know you’re rich. You’re only rich because B40 netizens follow and like. No need to be so provocative.”

Another commented, “Please be a good and wise content creator. Previously I was your fan but now frankly speaking I am more than happy and grateful to unfollow you. Be wise. Don’t seek too much attention.”

To make matters even worse, in a response to one of the negative comments, the influencer responded by saying, “Let them realise how do we feel when the B40 make fun of T20. I won’t be apologising for this one.”
