PAS leaders who do not like the famous British rock group, Coldplay, have been advised not to buy tickets or watch the concert by the Minister of Local Government Development, Nga Kor Ming.
According to a report by Utusan, the suggestion was shared by Kor Ming after a post was uploaded by Central PAS Working Committee member Nasrudin Hassan asking the government to cancel the band’s concert in Malaysia.
“This is not only about the show, but it can help economic growth. If he doesn’t like Coldplay, it’s easy not to buy tickets, but don’t stop fans from going,” he said.
He explained that famous group from the United Kingdom had previously also made the effort to sponsor the garbage trap machine in the Klang river, known as the Interceptor 005, corresponds with the ministry’s initiative to clean up the environment.
Additionally, the Teluk Intan Member of Parliament said that the Coldplay concert, which is expected to take place on November 22 (Wednesday), is in line with the government’s aspirations and plans to make Kuala Lumpur a metropolitan city, with entertainment and performances.
“Don’t forget that 2025 is the Visit Malaysia Year, so we must start (promoting the country) from now,” he shared.
With that being said, he also invites artists like Adele and Taylor Swift to come and perform in Malaysia, as reported by New Straits Times.
We’d like to see Rihanna in Malaysia, please and thank you.
