The Idol is HBO’s newest original series, created by Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd) and Euphoria’s Sam Levinson.
The ending of the HBO hit series, Euphoria left many fans with more questions than answers. While the show is poised to come back for its third season, fans will have to wait till 2024 for that to happen.
In the meanwhile, though, something sexy and ‘culty’ is brewing!
According to the show’s teaser, “the sleaziest love story in all of Hollywood” will follow Lily-Rose Depp’s pop star character as she is lured into a cult led by Tesfaye’s character.
Unsurprisingly, the show will also feature all of Levinson’s trademarks that made his music famous: beautiful young people, drugs and mood lighting.
But what may be most exciting is the star-studded cast of this highly anticipated series.
With the likes of Troye Sivan, Blackpink’s Jennie Ruby Jane, Dan Levy and many more gracing the show’s scenes, The Idol may be HBO’s next big thing.
The Idol will premiere sometime this year and is said to debut on HBO Max.
All the more reason to stay at home and watch TV now! We cannot wait for this show to drop.
