The kidnapping of 6-year-old Albertine Leo made headlines when she went missing in Johor, only to be found safe later inside a motel room in Batang Kali, Selangor.
Following the incident, Albertine’s mum, Leo Qieo Xin, shared updates on Facebook about Albertine’s condition since her rescue. She reveals how Albertine is currently seeking help from a psychologist to deal with emotional stress.
“Mummy will be with you”
In one of the posts, her mum shared a video of herself and Albertine, highlighting her daughter’s ongoing treatment and including motivational messages to show her support for her daughter that read,

In another post, the 37-year-old mum shared a short video clip of them waiting for their turn at a pediatric clinic in a hospital.
“Albertine, you are amazing”
The mum was also seen offering words of encouragement to Albertine, assuring her that she would always be there for her and that she would one day recover from the emotional stress.
Additionally, the mum vowed to keep working hard to help Albertine overcome her fears as soon as possible.
