Laptops and some of our daily things are heavy to lug around so when we go out, we mostly keep our belongings in the car.
However, a Malaysian has advised us not to do so as his car was broken into in a mall parking located in KL.
Muhammad Irfan Haziq Md Zam shared his story on Twitter about how he had left his 1-year-old son’s clothing and milk bag in the back seat of his car which resulted in his car being broken into.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Irfan said that the incident took place on 29 October between 8 to 10pm.
The side window of the backseat was shattered and the baby bag was opened up, as there was nothing in the bag that was of value, the thief just left it there.
Continuing with the thread, another victim reached out to Irfan and told him that their car was broken into as well on the same night.
However, that couple was not as lucky as they had a company laptop in the car and the thief stole it.
Irfan told us that he had informed mall management about what had happened but he did not lodge a police report as there was no loss of property.
“Plus, my son was getting cranky at that time so I needed to rush home.”
As Irfan does not want others to fall victim, he urges everyone to not leave things in the car.
“Please be careful, don’t leave any expensive belongings in your car. I hope that others won’t fall victim to this.”
This incident had costed Irfan RM200 to replace his window.
We certainly hope that the culprit will be caught soon.
