A Malaysian’s encounter with a sweet elderly couple slowly walking together while holding hands to go eat out at an eatery together pulled on the heartstrings of netizens and went viral on social media.
Shared by @mohammadzamree on TikTok, many Malaysians were moved by the sight of the elderly couple, garnering over 1.2 million views and more than 120,400 likes on the platform as of the time of writing.

In the video recorded from inside the vehicle, the elderly couple can be seen slowly walking on the grass by the side of the road, with both visibly struggling with every step.
As they hold hands, the wife leads her husband through each step, with both of them also stopping to hold on to a post and wired fence for balance.
@mohammadzamree gave further context to the video, revealing that he offered the elderly couple a lift in his car but they declined, saying that they were just walking to eat out at a nearby eatery.
