New York has long been a dream destination for many, famous as the city that never sleeps, and known for its vibrant billboards, especially those in Times Square.
In a recent video that has been making rounds online, @sherafoodie took to her TikTok account to share a video of her recent trip to New York with her husband.
She was completely unaware of the surprise
In the video, Shera stands in front of a billboard in Times Square as her husband tries to take a photo of her. Little does she know, her husband has a surprise planned for her.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Shera revealed that she and her husband had been together for 6 years and that the trip to New York was an early celebration for their anniversary.
Celebrating 6 years of being together!
Shera went on to share that this trip marked their 1st vacation to the United States, and New York had always been at the top of their bucket list.
She recalled how they spontaneously decided to have a casual night out in Times Square. Her husband encouraged her to go out and take some photos that evening.
“My makeup wasn’t even done perfectly. We stood there for about 10 minutes until my husband tricked me into posing for photos with the billboard behind us.”
A surprise she will remember for a very long time!
Shera went on to share that while they were taking pictures and videos, her husband asked her to turn around, but she didn’t notice anything unusual at 1st glance.
“The second time he asked me to turn around, that’s when I spotted our picture on the billboard screen. I was so shocked I almost slipped.”
She expressed how, at that moment, she couldn’t believe what she was seeing and it took her a while to process her emotions. She also mentioned how, even after being together for 6 years, her husband still finds ways to surprise her.
