Before Covid-19, the only positive test you’d dread is if it was for another medical disease or condition. However, those are often rare and the only ‘positive’ test that we’d often hear about is a pregnancy test.
Unfortunately, with Covid-19 taking over the world, Covid tests are now the most common type of test.
Hilariously enough, a Malaysian couple were recently bombarded with get well soon messages after netizens had confused a positive pregnancy test with a positive Covid test.
Twitter user Wan Arief recently shared an image of his wife’s positive pregnancy test along with the caption, “wife woke me up on women’s day with a double line on her test kit.”

Malaysians congratulated the couple
Wan Arief’s post has amassed over 15,100 likes and 2,033 shares. Plenty of netizens congratulated the couple over the wonderful news.
“Congrats Wan! A great double line,” commented one user.
Some mistook it for a Covid-19 test
However, instead of being congratulated over the wonderful news, some netizens actually managed to mistake the test for a Covid test and wished him and his wife a speedy recovery instead.
One user even told Wan Arief to remind his wife to update her MySejahtera status.
After the massive amount of get well messages he received, Wan Arief said, “Didn’t know that this would get this many responses. There’s too many well-wishes & I’d like to thank you all.”
“Been a tough 2 years. This month was slightly better. Maybe because of the child. Thank you again, one way or another (whatever type of test kit you think it is), they’re all well received,” he added.
