A video has gone viral on TikTok for all the wrong reasons recently, in which a Malaysian wannabe influencer/entrepreneur and his friends made a skit that can only be described as tasteless and offensive.

As of the time of writing, the video has garnered over 1.4 million views, with a majority in the comments condemning the man for the offensive content.

In the 17-second video, the man can be seen walking inside an undisclosed building before entering a toilet designated for the differently-abled (OKU).

The skit then showed the man walking out of the toilet while two other men were waiting to use it. He then pretended to be differently-abled while walking before returning to his normal walking style at the end of the video.

Throughout all this, the overlaid text on the video wrote, “POV: When you have to use the OKU toilet”. Meanwhile, his caption on the TikTok video asserted, “When you have to stay in character ?”.

In the video’s comments section, many Malaysians criticised the local wannabe influencer for the tasteless video and called out his pathetic attempt at humour.

One commenter called the skit a “low class” level joke, while another said that he shouldn’t be mocking the OKU even for content as he may end up being differently-abled himself in the blink of an eye.

Besides that, one netizen mockingly took pity on the man, saying that he was still young to do something this stupid.

This is not actually the first offensive video mocking the OKU community that went viral in our country, as in 2021, a Malaysian content creator was also called out by Dewan Negara Senator Ras Adiba for doing something similar.

The content creator, Iswan Ishak has since apologised and removed the video and most recently made headlines last year after becoming MUDA’s candidate for the 2022 Negeri Sembilan State Elections before pulling out due to personal reasons.

So, what do you guys think of the video? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
