The implementation of the Sales and Services Tax (SST) is all every netizen is talking about now on social media. Understandably, many were upset after being charged slightly extra at eateries or while buying groceries.

However, instead of fuming on Facebook, why not send the complaints to the Ministry of Domestic Trades and Consumer Affairs (KPDNKK) through WhatsApp?

Das right guys, KPDNKK is looking forward to helping you with your complaints and all you need to do now is to send all your complaints to through WhatsApp at 019274317. You can complain if:

  • the price hike is too much
  • there’s a confusion with the price tags
  • there are no price tags displayed
  • no receipt was issued by the seller

To lodge a complaint, you simply have to type out your dissatisfaction and send it to 019-2794317. You will then receive a template which requires you to provide details such as:

  • Complainant’s name
  • Complainant’s IC number
  • Name of the premises
  • Address of the premises
  • Complainant’s statement
  • Photos as evidence (if any)
  • Bank name and account number (for online transactions)

The authorities will take further action based on the information they’ve received from the consumers. It’s very simple, isn’t it?

So guys, if you come across any service provider that is simply hiking up their prices, you know what to do. 😉
